It was a long time in the planning phase but lunch at the ANZ Centre finally arrived on September 9 with a sell-out attendance of 80 including a number
of Members not seen for a while. We had an excellent meeting room overlooking the marina which was a comfortable venue and a great selection of food provided by the ANZ Catering team. Maggie Aitken, Program Director, Global Services and Operations was our guest speaker and has been involved with the building project since its inception in 2005. We had a very interesting presentation followed by a short dvd showing how the building was gradually built and highlighting the state of the art features enjoyed by the 6000+ staff who work there. We hope to organise another function at ANZ Centre next year and will try and include a guided tour of the building next time. Photos from the event can be found in the photo gallery.
